We hope that you can join us for Sunday worship! Our address is 713 Campbell Rd, New Freedom, PA 17349.
We worship together on Sunday mornings from 10:00 - 11:30am, a time which is comprised of praise, prayer, giving, and preaching. Our music portion aims to lead our congregation in songs that turn our affections toward our God and King, Jesus Christ. Our pastoral leadership preaches expository sermons from the Bible (verse by verse, passage by passage, and often book by book). We believe that the most effective way to understand God’s Word and how the Bible points all things to Jesus and the greatness of our God is by preaching through the Bible as a whole.
We recommend coming at least five minutes early. When you walk in the front doors, you'll be welcomed by one of our greeters, and they would be glad to answer any questions you may have.
Come as you are. You'll find a wide range of dress at Mason Dixon, from shorts to dresses to sport coats.
Yes! During the first half of our worship gathering, children remain in the sanctuary and sing with us. When we take up our tithes and offerings, children preschool to second grade are dismissed to Sunday School. At least once a month, we have what we call Family Sundays where children remain in the worship gathering the entire time.
Yes! At Mason Dixon, we believe children are a wonderful gift from the Lord, and we love it when they join us for worship. However, if you feel as though your little ones are getting a bit restless, you are more than welcome to step out of the service for a moment. We also have a nursery in the event mothers need to nurse their hungry infants.
Our leadership selects and leads the congregation in singing both old and new hymns that are committed to biblical faithfulness, theological richness, and congregational participation. We believe that the main instrument during our time of singing is the congregation, so all our songs are set to keys that everyone can feel comfortable singing. Explore some of the Song We Sing.
Our Sunday School hour begins at 8:45am. We have Sunday School classes available for any age, ranging from preschool to senior adult, along with youth, college and career, and adult classes. There are many options of classes to choose from during this time before our Sunday Morning Service that allow you to study God’s Word in a group setting with people to whom you can better relate.
